“Le Isole Incantate"

È un paradiso dove gli animali non hanno timore dell’uomo; un regno magico le cui creature sembrano essere incantate. Hanno forme fantastiche, uniche ed affascinanti, e comportamenti che non si possono incontrare in nessun’altra parte del mondo.

L’UNESCO ha incluso le Isole Galapagos nella lista dei luoghi Patrimonio Naturale dell’Umanità, questo arcipelago è unico e costituisce una delle meraviglie del mondo.

La biodiversità si estende in un territorio di materiale vulcanico che emerge dalle profonde acque dell’Oceano Pacifico. Il cormorano ha dimenticato il volo, l’iguana ha    imparato a nuotare, la tartaruga è diventata gigante e lo    squalo amichevole.

L’arcipelago si trova a 600 miglia (965 Km) dalla costa dell’ecuador, nell’Oceano Pacifico. Le sue sorprendenti meraviglie comprendono impressionanti formazioni geologiche, fonti vecchie e nuove di lava, vari tipi di cunicoli e tunnel formati dalle correnti terrestri interne.

Spiagge bianche, rosse e nere con paesaggi straordinari dimostrano la diversità della vita stessa. Qui si percepisce non solo lo spirito di Charles Darwin, ma anche il suo stesso    interesse di scoprire l’origine delle specie animali e la sua  teoria dell’evoluzione.

BARTOLOME

Great snorkeling opportunities with penguins and sea lions off a golden-sand beach at the foot of popular Pinnacle Rock.

RABIDA (Jervis)

A red sand beach with a large sea lion colony, Palo Santo forests, endemic cacti, and the only Galapagos site where the nine Dawin’s finches are found.

SANTA FE

Offering one of the most beautiful and sheltered coves in the islands, home to a number of endemic species including Galapagos Hawk, Darwin’s finches and endemic land iguana. 

ISABELA (ALBEMARLE)
