SANTA CRUZ
Santa Cruz holds the capital of the archipelago, Puerto Ayora. Here, is where the Charles Darwin Research Center is located, also the highlands, with endemic vegetation amid mountain mist, where large colonies of giant tortoises can be seen in the wild. The island is also known by its inviting beaches, Tortuga Bay and Bachas, as well as, sightseeing points like Black turtle Cove and Dragon Hill.
