GENOVESA

Genovesa, known as “The Bird Island” due to its vast variety of bird species that nest there, is probably one of the most interesting Islands to visit.

Geographically, the shape of the island resembles a horseshoe which is the remains of a submerged crater.

It is one of the few places in the archipelago where Red-Footed Boobies are found in large groups nesting by the Palo Santo trees.  Other iconic birds such as frigatebirds and swallow-tailed gull can also be appreciated flying by the shore.   Marine iguanas that live in this island are smaller than in other islands.

Great crystal clear beaches and other activities such as snorkeling or diving.
